Holiday Schedule
We are closed on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Holiday schedules are communicated to active customers in advance. If a holiday falls on a scheduled delivery day, we coordinate alternate arrangements.

For complex requests (custom pallet engineering, large-volume contracts, specialized treatment requirements, new account setup), this response includes a detailed follow-up with questions to refine your requirements, a preliminary pricing range, and a timeline for a formal quote.
Formal Quote Delivery: Depending on the complexity of your request, formal quotes are delivered within 24 to 72 hours. Simple orders (standard sizes, common grades) are quoted same-day. Custom pallet projects, large-volume contracts, and specialty requirements may take 2-3 business days as our engineering team develops the specification and pricing. All quotes include itemized pricing, lead times, delivery terms, and payment options.
Urgent Requests: If you have a time-sensitive need, indicate “URGENT” in your message subject line or form submission. Urgent requests are escalated immediately and receive priority handling. After-Hours Email
Emails sent to info@acepalletservice.com after business hours are queued and reviewed first thing the following business morning. For the fastest response, include your full requirements, preferred timeline, and contact phone number in the email. After-hours emails with “URGENT” in the subject line are flagged for immediate attention when our office opens.
Voicemail After Hours
Our phone system accepts voicemail 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Messages left after 5:00 PM are reviewed at 7:00 AM the next business morning. Provide your name, company, phone number, and a brief description of your need. Weekend voicemails are returned Monday morning by 8:00 AM.
Existing Customer Emergencies
If you are an existing customer with an active account and have a genuine supply chain emergency (production line shutdown, critical shipment deadline, unexpected pallet failure), contact your assigned account representative directly. Account reps share their direct contact information with active customers and are available for urgent situations outside of standard business hours.
Saturday Service
Our Saturday hours (8:00 AM to 12:00 PM) accommodate customers who cannot manage pallet logistics during the standard Monday-through-Friday workweek. Saturday services include pallet pickups, deliveries, quote consultations, and will-call orders. For Saturday appointments, we recommend scheduling by Friday at 3:00 PM to ensure availability and staffing.

From I-696 (East or West)
Take I-696 to the Mound Road exit. Head north on Mound Road toward 12 Mile Road. Turn right (east) onto Chicago Road, then make a left (north) onto Murthum Avenue. Our facility is located at 7236 Murthum Ave, on the east side of the street. Look for the Ace Pallet Service signage and the pallet yard visible from the road.
From I-94 (East or West)
Take I-94 to the 8 Mile Road exit. Head west on 8 Mile Road and turn north on Mound Road. Continue north on Mound Road past 10 Mile Road. Turn right (east) onto Chicago Road, then left (north) onto Murthum Avenue. We are located at 7236 Murthum Ave in the industrial section of Warren.
From Downtown Detroit
Head north on I-75 to I-696 West. Take the Mound Road exit and head north. Follow the I-696 directions above. The drive from downtown Detroit to our facility takes approximately 25-35 minutes depending on traffic. During rush hour (7-9 AM and 4-6 PM), allow an additional 15-20 minutes.
Truck Access & Parking
Our facility accommodates full-size semi-trucks, flatbeds, and box trucks. The main entrance on Murthum Avenue provides direct access to our pallet yard and loading docks. What You Will See: Our facility includes an outdoor pallet yard with thousands of pallets organized by size, grade, and type. You will see our sorting and grading operation, where incoming pallets are inspected, classified, and routed for resale, repair, or recycling. Our repair stations demonstrate the hands-on process of restoring damaged pallets to full working condition. For custom pallet projects, we can walk you through our production area and show you the jigs, assembly stations, and quality control checkpoints.
Scheduling a Visit: While walk-in visits are welcome during business hours, we recommend scheduling an appointment so that the right team member is available to show you around and answer your specific questions. Call our office or submit a form request noting that you would like to schedule a facility visit. We will confirm a time that works for both of us, typically within the same week.
What to Bring: If you are evaluating pallets for a specific application, bring a sample of your product or a dimensioned drawing of your carton layout. If you have a pallet specification sheet from your customer or logistics partner, bring that as well. The more context we have during your visit, the more productive it will be. For safety, closed-toe shoes are required in the yard area.
Will-Call Pickups: If you have placed an order and prefer to pick up at our facility rather than scheduling delivery, will-call pickups are available during business hours. When your order is ready, we will notify you by email or phone. Simply drive to our facility, check in at the office, and our team will load your vehicle or trailer. Will-call pickups are free of charge and eliminate delivery fees for customers in the Warren area.

Dock Specifications
Our facility has multiple loading positions capable of handling standard 53-foot semi-trailers, flatbeds, and box trucks of all sizes. The dock area is grade-level, allowing direct forklift access to trailers without dock levelers for most configurations. We also have ground-level loading capability for flatbed and open-top trailers.
Yard forklifts with 5,000-pound and 8,000-pound capacities are on-site for loading and unloading operations. Our team handles all forklift operations — drivers are not required to unload or load their own vehicles.
For Pickup Orders
Arrive during yard hours (Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM - 11:30 AM). Check in at the office with your order number or company name. Our team will direct you to the appropriate loading position and begin loading immediately.
Average loading time is 20-30 minutes for a full truckload of pallets. For will-call customers picking up smaller quantities in a pickup truck or box truck, loading typically takes 10-15 minutes. Please have your vehicle positioned and accessible before check-in to minimize wait time.
For Deliveries to Our Facility
If you are delivering used pallets for recycling or sale, check in at the office upon arrival. We will inspect the load to verify pallet count, sizes, and conditions. Payment terms for purchased pallets are net on delivery or per your existing account terms.
We accept deliveries of any quantity — from a pickup truck with 20 pallets to a full semi-trailer with 400+ pallets. Mixed loads (multiple sizes and conditions) are accepted. Our sorting team will classify and count the pallets during unloading.
Driver Amenities
Restroom facilities are available for drivers. The office has a waiting area with seating during loading and unloading. While our facility is in an industrial area, there are restaurants and convenience stores within a short drive on Mound Road and 10 Mile Road for drivers waiting for loading.
For drivers needing to idle overnight before a morning pickup, please note that overnight parking on our lot is not available. Several truck stops with overnight parking are located along I-696 and I-94 within a 15-minute drive of our facility.
Our Service Area
Ace Pallet Service is based in Warren, Michigan, and our primary service area covers the entire Southeast Michigan region. We provide direct pickup and delivery services throughout this area using our own fleet. For customers outside our direct delivery zone, we arrange third-party transportation to ensure pallet service coverage wherever you need it.
Local Service Area (Same-Day / Next-Day Delivery Available): Warren, Detroit, Sterling Heights, Troy, Royal Oak, Southfield, Dearborn, Livonia, Farmington Hills, Rochester Hills, Macomb, Clinton Township, Shelby Township, Roseville, Eastpointe, St. Clair Shores, Madison Heights, Hazel Park, Ferndale, Berkley, Clawson, Pontiac, Auburn Hills, Lake Orion, and all communities within Macomb County, Oakland County, and Wayne County.
Regional Service Area (2-3 Day Delivery): Ann Arbor, Flint, Lansing, Grand Rapids, Toledo (OH), Monroe, Port Huron, and other communities within a 150-mile radius of our Warren facility. Delivery schedules in this zone are coordinated weekly to optimize routing and minimize costs for our regional customers.
National Coverage: For large orders and contract customers anywhere in the continental United States, we arrange freight through our network of transportation partners. We have shipped pallets to customers in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, New York, and across the Midwest. Long-distance shipments are typically economical for orders of 200+ pallets, where the per-unit shipping cost remains reasonable.
Recycling Pickup Service: If you have pallets to sell or recycle, our trucks service the same local and regional areas listed above. We schedule regular pickup routes and can add your location to an existing route for cost-efficient service. For large volumes (full truckloads), we can arrange dedicated pickups on short notice. Minimum pickup quantity for scheduled routes is typically 50 pallets; for dedicated pickups, any quantity is accepted.

Initial Contact & Quote
Reach out through our website form, email, or phone. Describe your pallet needs (sizes, quantities, frequency, delivery location) and any special requirements. We will provide a quote within 24 hours. No account setup is required to receive a quote — we are happy to provide pricing information to anyone evaluating our services.
First Order (COD or Prepay)
Your first order is processed on a cash-on-delivery (COD) or prepayment basis. We accept checks, ACH transfers, and credit cards. This allows both parties to establish the relationship without extensive credit verification. First orders of any size are welcome — there is no minimum order requirement to get started.
Credit Application (Optional)
After your first order, you may apply for net payment terms (Net 15 or Net 30) by completing a brief credit application. We request basic business information and two or three trade references. Credit review typically takes 3-5 business days. Approved customers receive invoiced billing with agreed payment terms, eliminating the need for payment at time of delivery.
Ongoing Account Management
Once your account is established, you are assigned a dedicated account representative who knows your business, your pallet requirements, and your preferred delivery schedule. Reorders can be placed by phone, email, or through your rep directly. Regular customers benefit from consistent pricing, priority scheduling during peak season, and proactive inventory management — we will reach out when we know you are due for a reorder based on your historical usage patterns.

Do I need to know the exact pallet size and grade I want before contacting you?
No. Many of our customers come to us knowing only that they need pallets. Our sales team will ask questions about your product dimensions, weight, storage method, and intended use, then recommend the right size, grade, and quantity for your application. We are pallet experts — helping you figure out what you need is part of the service.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
For standard pallet sizes in stock, there is no minimum order. You can buy as few as one pallet or as many as several thousand. However, delivery is most cost-effective for orders of 50 pallets or more. For very small quantities, will-call pickup at our Warren facility eliminates delivery fees entirely. Custom pallets have a minimum order of 50 units due to the setup costs involved in production.
Can I see pallets before I buy them?
Absolutely. You are welcome to visit our facility during business hours to inspect our pallet inventory. We can show you examples of each grade (New, Grade A, Grade B, Grade C) so you understand exactly what you are purchasing. For larger orders, we can pull sample pallets from the specific lot that will be used for your order. Seeing the product in person eliminates uncertainty and ensures you are satisfied with the quality before we load a single pallet on the truck.
Do you deliver, or do I need to arrange my own trucking?
We offer delivery throughout Southeast Michigan and can arrange delivery anywhere in the continental United States. Local delivery is included in the quote for orders above a certain volume threshold; smaller orders may incur a delivery fee that we will disclose upfront. You are also welcome to arrange your own trucking or pick up at our facility. We accommodate all three options and will recommend the most cost-effective choice for your situation.
Do you buy used pallets? I have pallets to sell or get rid of.
Yes. We actively purchase used pallets in all standard sizes and conditions. We will either pay you for reusable pallets or provide free removal for pallets that are only suitable for recycling. Contact us with an estimate of the quantity, sizes, and general condition, and we will provide a pickup quote. For businesses with ongoing pallet accumulation, we offer regular scheduled pickup service so pallets never pile up at your facility.
How quickly can I get pallets?
For standard sizes in stock (48x40 GMA pallets in all grades are always available), same-day or next-day delivery is often possible for local customers. Larger orders of 500+ pallets may require 2-3 days for staging and delivery scheduling. Custom pallets take 7-14 business days from order to delivery due to engineering, prototyping, and production.
