General Questions
What types of pallets do you offer?
We offer a comprehensive range of pallet types to suit virtually any application. Our inventory includes standard GMA 48x40 wood pallets in Grade A, B, and C, as well as specialty sizes like 42x42, 48x48, 36x36, 48x42, and 48x45. Beyond wood, we supply plastic pallets in nestable, stackable, and rackable configurations for food-grade, pharmaceutical, and export applications. We also build custom pallets to your exact specifications and offer heat-treated (ISPM-15 certified) pallets for international shipping compliance. Whether you need ten pallets or ten thousand, we have the inventory and variety to match your requirements.
What areas do you serve?
Ace Pallet Service is headquartered at 7236 Murthum Ave in Warren, Michigan, and we primarily serve the greater Southeast Michigan region. Our standard delivery area covers a 60-mile radius from our yard, which includes Metro Detroit, Ann Arbor, Flint, Lansing, Toledo (OH), and everywhere in between. For larger orders, we can arrange delivery throughout the state of Michigan and into neighboring states including Ohio, Indiana, and Ontario, Canada. If you are outside our standard area, contact us — we frequently work with freight partners to deliver across the Midwest.
Do you have a minimum order?
For delivery orders, our minimum is typically one full truckload, which is approximately 400-500 standard 48x40 pallets depending on the grade and stacking configuration. This minimum ensures efficient use of our delivery fleet and keeps per-pallet costs as low as possible for our customers. However, if you need a smaller quantity, we welcome customer pickups at our Warren, MI yard with no minimum requirement — you can buy as few as one pallet. For recurring orders of smaller quantities, we can also discuss scheduled delivery arrangements that aggregate multiple drops into efficient routes.
How do I get a quote?
Getting a quote from Ace Pallet Service is simple and free. You can fill out the quote request form on any page of our website, call us directly during business hours, or send an email to our sales team. To give you the most accurate pricing, it helps to include the pallet size, grade preference, quantity needed, delivery location, and any special requirements such as heat treatment or custom dimensions. We typically respond to quote requests within 24 hours on business days, and our quotes are valid for 7 days unless market conditions change significantly. There is never any obligation — we are happy to provide pricing information whether you are ready to order today or planning for next quarter.
What are your hours of operation?
Our Warren, Michigan yard is open Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time. Customer pickups and deliveries are scheduled within these hours. Our sales team is available by phone and email during business hours, and quote requests submitted through our website are typically responded to within the next business day. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and major holidays. For urgent needs outside normal hours, please leave a voicemail or submit a web inquiry and we will prioritize your request first thing the next business morning.

Ordering & Pricing Questions
How much do used pallets cost?
Used pallet pricing depends on several factors: size, grade, quantity, and current market conditions. As a general range, standard 48x40 used pallets typically fall between $3 and $12 per unit. Grade C (economy) pallets are at the lower end, Grade B (standard) pallets fall in the middle, and Grade A (premium) pallets command the highest price. New and heat-treated pallets cost more, generally $8 to $20+ depending on specifications. Volume discounts apply to all grades — the more you order, the better the per-unit price. Contact us for current pricing, as the pallet market fluctuates with lumber costs and seasonal demand.
Do you offer bulk discounts?
Yes, bulk discounts are a core part of our pricing structure. We work with businesses of all sizes, and our per-pallet price decreases as order volume increases. For truckload quantities (400+ pallets), you will receive our standard wholesale pricing. For multi-truckload orders or recurring contracts (weekly or monthly deliveries), we offer additional volume discounts that can significantly reduce your per-unit cost. Businesses that commit to a quarterly or annual supply agreement receive our best rates. We are also flexible — if you need a mix of sizes or grades, we can build a blended pricing package that optimizes your total cost across product lines.
How do you handle pricing fluctuations in the lumber market?
The pallet market is influenced by softwood lumber prices, diesel fuel costs, labor rates, and seasonal demand patterns. When lumber prices spike — as they did dramatically during 2021-2022 — new pallet prices increase, which puts upward pressure on used pallet pricing as well. We manage these fluctuations by maintaining deep inventory, hedging our supply through diversified sourcing channels, and offering supply agreements that can lock in pricing for a defined period. Customers on quarterly or annual contracts receive price stability even during volatile market conditions, which is one of the key advantages of committing to a supply agreement.
Can I get a price lock or supply agreement?
Yes, we offer supply agreements that provide price stability and guaranteed inventory allocation. A typical supply agreement specifies the pallet size, grade, quantity per delivery, delivery frequency, and a fixed per-unit price for the agreement term. Agreement terms typically range from three months to one year. In exchange for your volume commitment, you receive a locked-in price that does not fluctuate with market conditions, priority access to inventory during high-demand periods, and the convenience of scheduled deliveries without having to place individual orders. Contact our sales team to discuss a supply agreement tailored to your needs.
Do you charge for delivery?
Delivery pricing depends on your location, order size, and frequency. For customers within our primary 60-mile service radius ordering truckload quantities, delivery is often included in the per-pallet price or available at a very competitive flat rate. For smaller orders, deliveries outside our standard area, or expedited service, we provide a separate delivery quote that is always communicated upfront before you confirm the order. Many of our recurring customers find that their per-pallet delivery cost decreases over time as we optimize routes and consolidate their orders with nearby deliveries.
Is there a price difference between stringer and block pallets?
Stringer pallets (the most common type in the U.S.) and block pallets (more common in Europe and for four-way entry applications) are priced differently because they require different construction methods and lumber configurations. Block pallets generally cost more than stringer pallets of the same size because they use more material and require more assembly time. However, the price difference narrowed in recent years as demand for block pallets in automated warehouse applications has grown, increasing production volume and efficiency. We stock both types and can provide comparative pricing for your specific size and grade requirements.
Quality & Grading Questions
What grades are available?
We stock five grade categories. Grade A (also called #1 or Premium) pallets are in like-new condition with minimal cosmetic wear, no repairs, and full structural integrity — ideal for retail displays, exports, and automated warehouse systems. Grade B (#2 or Standard) pallets are in good working condition with minor cosmetic wear and possibly minor repairs, perfect for general warehousing and shipping. Grade C (#3 or Economy) pallets show visible wear and may have repaired boards or stringers, but remain structurally sound — excellent for one-way shipments or heavy industrial use. We also offer Combo/Mixed loads at bulk pricing, and brand-new Heat-Treated pallets with ISPM-15 certification for international compliance. Visit our Grading Guide for detailed descriptions and comparison charts.
How do you grade your pallets?
Every pallet that enters our facility is inspected and graded by trained professionals using a standardized evaluation process. Our graders assess six primary criteria: structural integrity of stringers and blocks, deck board condition (cracks, splits, missing pieces), repair quality and history, fastener condition (protruding nails, missing fasteners), dimensional accuracy, and overall cosmetic appearance. Each pallet is assigned a grade based on the worst attribute — meaning a pallet with excellent structure but significant cosmetic wear would be graded based on the cosmetic condition. This conservative approach ensures that every pallet meets or exceeds the expectations of its assigned grade.
Can I request a specific grade quality within a grade level?
Yes, to a degree. Within each standard grade, there is a natural range of condition. For example, a Grade B pallet at the top of the range may look almost like a Grade A, while one at the bottom may have more visible wear. If your application requires the highest quality within a grade category, let us know and we will pull selectively from our inventory. We call this "cherry picking" and it may carry a modest premium because of the additional labor involved in selection. For automated warehouse applications, we can also sort by dimensional consistency to ensure tight tolerance matching.
Do your pallets meet NWPCA standards?
Our grading practices align with the standards published by the National Wooden Pallet and Container Association (NWPCA), the primary trade organization for the U.S. wood pallet industry. The NWPCA establishes voluntary guidelines for pallet grading, construction, repair, and recycling that represent industry best practices. While grading is not federally regulated — and there is some variation between companies — our standards are consistent with NWPCA recommendations for each grade category. We are transparent about our grading criteria and happy to discuss the specific standards we apply if you need documentation for compliance or quality assurance purposes.
What happens if I receive pallets that do not match the grade I ordered?
While we take great care in our grading and quality control processes, we understand that occasional discrepancies can occur, especially with large orders. If you receive pallets that you believe do not match the ordered grade, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and a description of the issue. Our quality team will review the concern promptly. If we agree that pallets were mis-graded, we will arrange a replacement delivery or issue a credit at no cost to you. Our goal is complete customer satisfaction, and we would rather resolve a quality concern quickly than lose a long-term relationship over a grading dispute.
How do you ensure pallets are free from contamination?
We take contamination seriously because many of our customers operate in food, pharmaceutical, and automotive environments where contamination can cause significant problems. Every pallet that enters our facility undergoes a visual inspection for signs of chemical spills, biological contamination, strong odors, and hazardous material contact. We reject any pallets with visible contamination, chemical staining, or unusual odors. We do not accept pallets from hazardous waste operations. For food-grade and pharmaceutical applications, we recommend Grade A or new heat-treated pallets for the highest level of assurance. If your application has specific contamination protocols, let us know and we will tailor our inspection and selection process accordingly.
Buying Pallets Questions
Can I pick up pallets myself?
Absolutely. Customer pickup is available at our yard located at 7236 Murthum Ave, Warren, MI 48092. Pickups are available during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. When you pick up pallets yourself, there is no minimum order quantity — you can purchase as few as one pallet or as many as your vehicle can carry. We recommend calling ahead to confirm inventory availability for your specific size and grade requirements, especially for larger pickup orders. Our yard staff will help you load using forklifts. You will need a suitable vehicle — a flatbed truck, box truck, or trailer works best for pallet pickups. Standard passenger vehicles are not suitable for pallet transport.
Do you sell plastic pallets?
Yes, we carry a selection of plastic pallets in addition to our core wood pallet inventory. Our plastic pallet offerings include nestable pallets (which stack compactly for empty return shipments), stackable pallets (with reinforced edges for stacking loaded pallets), and rackable pallets (designed for warehouse racking systems with high load capacities). Plastic pallets are ideal for food processing, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, and export applications where hygiene, moisture resistance, and consistent dimensions are priorities. Plastic pallets cost significantly more per unit than wood pallets but offer longer lifespans and are exempt from ISPM-15 heat treatment requirements for international shipping.
Can you build custom-sized pallets?
Yes, we build custom pallets to your exact specifications. If your product, equipment, or facility requires a non-standard size, we can manufacture pallets in virtually any dimension. Custom pallets can be built from new lumber or, where appropriate, from select reclaimed lumber for cost savings. When ordering custom pallets, please provide the desired length, width, and height, the expected load weight, whether you need two-way or four-way fork entry, deck board spacing preferences, and any special requirements such as heat treatment, notched stringers, or specific lumber species. Custom orders typically require a 5-7 business day lead time depending on complexity and quantity.
What is the difference between a two-way and four-way pallet?
A two-way pallet has solid stringers that only allow forklift entry from two opposite sides. A four-way pallet — either a block pallet or a stringer pallet with notched stringers — allows forklift entry from all four sides. Four-way entry is important in tight spaces, cross-docking operations, and any environment where pallets need to be accessed from multiple directions. Most standard GMA 48x40 stringer pallets are manufactured with notched stringers that provide partial four-way entry, allowing pallet jacks from two sides and forklifts from all four. If your operation requires full four-way entry for both forklifts and pallet jacks, a block pallet is the better choice.
Selling Pallets Questions
Do you buy used pallets?
Yes, buying used pallets is a significant part of our business. We purchase pallets from warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturers, retail stores, and any business that accumulates pallets during normal operations. We buy all standard sizes and most non-standard sizes, in any condition from like-new to heavily damaged. If you have pallets sitting in your yard or loading dock taking up space, we will take them off your hands. Depending on condition and quantity, we either pay cash for your pallets or provide free removal — either way, you get a cleaner facility and the satisfaction of knowing your pallets are being recycled rather than landfilled.
What pallets do you accept?
We accept virtually all wood pallets regardless of size, condition, or manufacturer. Standard GMA 48x40 pallets are our highest-demand item, but we also buy 42x42, 48x48, 36x36, and other sizes. We accept pallets in any condition: Grade A pallets in excellent shape, Grade B pallets with minor wear, Grade C pallets with significant wear, and even broken pallets that are no longer functional. The only pallets we cannot accept are those that have been contaminated with hazardous materials, chemicals, or biological waste. If you are unsure whether your pallets qualify, send us a photo or description and we will let you know within the same business day.
How does pallet pickup work?
Our pallet pickup process is designed to be as simple as possible for you. First, contact us with an estimate of how many pallets you have, their approximate sizes, and your location. We will provide a quote or confirm free pickup (depending on quantity and condition). Next, we schedule a pickup time that works for your operation — we can accommodate specific delivery windows to avoid disrupting your workflow. On the scheduled date, our truck arrives, our crew loads the pallets using our own equipment, and we handle all the heavy lifting. You do not need to sort, stack, or prepare the pallets in any special way, though having them accessible and reasonably organized does speed up the process. We provide a receipt or payment on the spot.
How are pallets priced when selling to Ace?
When you sell pallets to us, pricing depends on three primary factors: condition, size, and quantity. Pallets in excellent condition (Grade A equivalent) command the highest buyback price because they can be resold with minimal processing. Pallets in good condition (Grade B) are priced slightly lower, and damaged or heavily worn pallets (Grade C) may be purchased at a lower rate or picked up for free. Standard 48x40 pallets are the most in-demand size and typically receive the best pricing. Larger quantities also yield better per-pallet rates because of the logistics efficiency. We evaluate pallets on-site during pickup, and our grading is transparent — we will explain exactly how we assess each pallet and what drives the price we offer.
How quickly can you schedule a pickup after I contact you?
In most cases, we can schedule a pickup within 2-5 business days of your initial contact, depending on our current fleet schedule and your location. For large quantities (multiple truckloads) or locations within our primary service area, we may be able to arrange pickup even sooner. If you have an urgent need to clear pallets from your facility — for example, to prepare for an audit, make room for incoming inventory, or address a safety concern — let us know the urgency and we will prioritize your pickup accordingly. We understand that pallet accumulation can become a space and safety issue, and we try to accommodate time-sensitive requests whenever possible.
Recycling & Sustainability Questions
What happens to recycled pallets?
When pallets arrive at our recycling facility, they enter a multi-stage process. First, our team sorts every pallet by size, type, and condition. Pallets that are still structurally sound are cleaned, repaired if needed, re-graded, and returned to commercial circulation — this is the most environmentally beneficial outcome because it extends the useful life of the wood. Pallets that cannot be economically repaired are dismantled, and the usable lumber is recovered for pallet reconstruction or other wood products. Wood that has reached the end of its structural life is processed into secondary products including landscape mulch, animal bedding, biomass fuel for industrial boilers, and compost material. Nails and metal fasteners are separated and sent to metal recyclers. Our goal is zero waste — every component of every pallet is reused, recycled, or repurposed.
Is pallet recycling free?
In many cases, yes. For businesses with a regular accumulation of standard-sized pallets in reasonable condition, we offer free pickup and recycling as part of our ongoing supply chain. The value of the recoverable wood offsets our collection costs, which allows us to provide this service at no charge. For pallets that are heavily damaged, non-standard, or available only in very small quantities, there may be a nominal fee to cover transportation costs — but we are always upfront about this before scheduling a pickup. Many of our customers find that switching from dumpster disposal to our recycling program actually saves them money because they eliminate waste hauling fees while keeping their facilities cleaner.
Do you recycle broken pallets?
Yes, we recycle broken and damaged pallets that most other companies would refuse. Broken pallets still contain valuable wood fiber, hardware, and structural components. Our repair team can often salvage individual boards, stringers, and blocks from damaged pallets and use them to rebuild other pallets. Wood that is too damaged for structural reuse is ground into mulch, animal bedding, or biomass fuel. Even the nails and metal fasteners are extracted and sent to metal recycling facilities. There is truly no part of a pallet that goes to waste in our operation. If you have a pile of broken pallets taking up space, contact us — we will pick them up and give every piece a second life.
How does recycling pallets help the environment?
Pallet recycling delivers measurable environmental benefits across several dimensions. First, it diverts wood from landfills where it would decompose anaerobically and generate methane — a greenhouse gas approximately 80 times more potent than CO2 over a 20-year period. Second, reusing an existing pallet avoids the energy, water, and raw materials needed to manufacture a replacement from virgin timber. Industry lifecycle analyses estimate that using a recycled pallet instead of a new one reduces carbon emissions by 70-80% per unit. Third, recycling preserves forests — every recycled pallet represents approximately 50 board feet of lumber that did not need to be harvested. In 2024 alone, Ace Pallet Service diverted over 21 million pounds of wood from landfills.
Can you provide recycling documentation for my ESG reporting?
Yes, we track recycling volumes by customer account and can provide documentation showing the number of pallets recycled, the estimated weight of wood diverted from landfill, and the calculated carbon offset associated with your recycling activity. This data is formatted for easy integration into ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reports, sustainability disclosures, and corporate responsibility documentation. We have seen a significant increase in requests for this type of documentation as more companies are required to report on their environmental impact by investors, customers, and regulatory bodies. Contact us to set up recycling tracking for your account.
What secondary products are made from recycled pallet wood?
Wood from pallets that can no longer be repaired for structural use is converted into a variety of secondary products. The most common are landscape mulch (used in residential and commercial landscaping), animal bedding (popular with equine and poultry farms), biomass fuel pellets and chips (used by industrial boilers and power generation facilities), and compost material (mixed with organic waste for soil amendment production). We also supply reclaimed pallet lumber to local artisans, furniture makers, and community organizations for creative reuse projects including garden beds, shelving, art installations, and DIY furniture. The versatility of pallet wood means that virtually every fiber finds a productive end use.
Delivery & Shipping Questions
What is your delivery area?
Our primary delivery area covers a 60-mile radius from our Warren, Michigan facility, which encompasses the entire Metro Detroit region, Ann Arbor, Flint, Lansing, Port Huron, Monroe, and extends into northwest Ohio. Within this zone, we operate our own fleet of flatbed trucks and can offer the most competitive delivery rates and fastest turnaround times. Beyond this radius, we serve customers throughout Michigan and neighboring states (Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin) through a combination of our own fleet and trusted freight partners. For very large orders, we can arrange nationwide delivery. Delivery costs vary by distance and load size, and we always include delivery pricing in your initial quote so there are no surprises.
How fast is delivery?
Standard delivery within our 60-mile service radius is typically completed within 1 to 3 business days of order confirmation, depending on current demand and fleet availability. For customers with urgent needs, we offer expedited service that can often deliver within the same business day or next morning — just let us know the urgency when you place your order and we will do our best to accommodate. Recurring customers on scheduled delivery programs receive their pallets on a fixed schedule (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) that we set up in advance, ensuring predictable inventory flow. Deliveries outside our primary service area typically take 3 to 5 business days depending on distance and carrier availability.
Do you offer same-day delivery?
Yes, same-day delivery is available for customers within our primary service area (60-mile radius of Warren, MI), subject to fleet availability and order timing. To maximize the chance of same-day fulfillment, we recommend placing your order before 10:00 AM on the day you need delivery. Same-day service is most readily available for standard products (48x40 wood pallets in common grades) that we maintain in deep inventory. Custom sizes, specialty grades, or very large quantities may require additional lead time. There is a modest expedite fee for same-day delivery to prioritize your order in our routing schedule. Contact us to check same-day availability for your specific order.
How are pallets stacked on the delivery truck?
Pallets are stacked vertically on our flatbed trucks using industry-standard stacking methods. For standard 48x40 pallets, we typically stack 20-25 pallets per column, with multiple columns arranged side by side on the flatbed. The exact number of pallets per truckload depends on the pallet grade (Grade A pallets stack more consistently than Grade C), the pallet thickness, and any stacking height restrictions at your receiving location. A typical truckload carries 400-500 standard pallets. All loads are secured with straps and banding to prevent shifting during transit. If you have specific receiving requirements — such as maximum stack height, forklift access needs, or dock configuration constraints — let us know when placing your order and we will adjust the load accordingly.
Can I schedule recurring deliveries?
Yes, scheduled recurring deliveries are one of the most popular services we offer. Many of our customers set up weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly delivery schedules that automatically replenish their pallet inventory without the need to place individual orders. The benefits include predictable supply, consistent pricing, priority fleet allocation, and reduced administrative overhead. We work with you to determine the right delivery frequency based on your consumption rate, storage capacity, and operational rhythms. Your delivery schedule can be adjusted at any time with reasonable notice if your needs change seasonally or due to business fluctuations.
Custom Orders & Technical Specs Questions
What custom pallet sizes can you build?
We can build pallets in virtually any dimension from as small as 24x24 inches to oversized platforms exceeding 72 inches in any direction. Common custom sizes we produce include 60x48, 72x48, 48x36, 60x60, and various odd dimensions required for specialty machinery, military containers, and export crates. Our custom pallets can be built with standard stringer or block construction, notched or solid stringers, variable deck board spacing, and specific lumber grades. If your application requires an unusual size or configuration, provide us with the dimensions, expected load weight, and any special requirements, and we will provide a quote within 24 hours.
What is ISPM-15 and do I need it?
ISPM-15 (International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15) is a global regulation administered by the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) that requires all wood packaging materials used in international trade to be treated to eliminate pests and pathogens. The approved treatment methods are heat treatment (raising the core temperature to 56 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes) and methyl bromide fumigation (being phased out in many countries). You need ISPM-15 certified pallets if you are shipping goods internationally to virtually any country outside North America. Non-compliant shipments risk cargo rejection, quarantine, fumigation at your expense, or fines at the destination port. If you ship only within the United States and Canada, ISPM-15 is not required but may still be preferred for food safety and hygiene reasons.
What is the weight capacity of a standard 48x40 pallet?
A standard GMA 48x40 stringer pallet in good condition has three weight ratings. The dynamic load capacity (maximum weight while being moved by a forklift or pallet jack) is typically 2,500 pounds. The static load capacity (maximum weight when the pallet is stationary on a flat surface) is approximately 2,800 pounds. The racking capacity (maximum weight when the pallet is supported only at its outer edges on warehouse racking) is approximately 2,000 pounds. These ratings apply to pallets in Grade A or B condition with no significant structural damage. Grade C pallets or heavily repaired pallets may have lower effective capacities. For loads exceeding standard capacities, we can build reinforced custom pallets with heavier stringers and additional deck boards.
Can you provide pallets with specific lumber species?
Our standard pallets are built primarily from Southern Yellow Pine and mixed hardwoods, which are the most common and cost-effective species for pallet construction in the Midwest. However, for applications that require specific lumber species — such as oak for maximum strength, poplar for lighter weight, or kiln-dried softwood for food-grade cleanliness — we can source and build to your specifications. Specific species requests are most common for export pallets, food-contact applications, and heavy-load industrial pallets. Specialty lumber may increase the per-unit cost and lead time, but we will provide transparent pricing so you can make an informed decision.
Do you offer pallet collars or accessories?
While our core business is pallets, we can source pallet collars, pallet lids, slip sheets, and other accessories for customers who need complete packaging solutions. Pallet collars are hinged wooden frames that sit on top of a pallet to create a stackable container without the need for a full crate or box. They are popular in automotive and manufacturing for in-plant material handling and returnable packaging programs. If you need pallet-related accessories, let us know your requirements and we will provide pricing and availability.
Payment & Returns Questions
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept a variety of payment methods to accommodate different business preferences. For established accounts, we offer net-30 credit terms subject to credit approval. We also accept checks, ACH bank transfers, wire transfers, and major credit cards. First-time customers typically pay COD (cash on delivery) or prepay for their initial order, after which credit terms can be established based on a straightforward credit application process. For large or ongoing accounts, we are flexible and willing to work with your accounts payable department to accommodate your standard payment processes.
Do you offer credit terms?
Yes, we offer net-30 credit terms for qualifying business accounts. To apply for credit, we ask for a standard credit application that includes your business information, trade references, and bank reference. The approval process typically takes 2-3 business days. Once approved, you can place orders and receive invoices with 30-day payment terms. For larger accounts or extended terms, we evaluate requests on a case-by-case basis. Maintaining good payment history with us can lead to increased credit limits and other preferential terms over time.
What is your return policy?
We stand behind the quality of our products. If you receive pallets that do not match the grade, size, or specifications you ordered, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will resolve the issue promptly — either by arranging a replacement delivery or issuing a credit. Because pallets are a commodity product that may be mixed into your inventory quickly upon receipt, we ask that you inspect your delivery at the time of arrival and report any concerns as soon as possible. Returns of pallets that were correctly graded and delivered as ordered are handled on a case-by-case basis. We always prefer to find a fair resolution and maintain a good working relationship.
Do you provide invoices and receipts for tax and accounting purposes?
Yes, every transaction with Ace Pallet Service is documented with a professional invoice that includes the date, pallet type and grade, quantity, unit price, delivery fees, and total amount. For credit account customers, invoices are issued at the time of delivery and are due per your credit terms. For cash and COD transactions, a receipt is provided at the time of payment. All invoices and receipts are formatted for easy integration into your accounting system and are available for tax, audit, and expense reporting purposes. We can also provide consolidated monthly statements for customers with multiple deliveries.
What happens if pallets are damaged during delivery?
While we take great care in loading, securing, and transporting pallets, occasional transit damage can occur. If you notice damage to pallets upon delivery — such as broken boards, cracked stringers, or other damage that was not consistent with the ordered grade — please note the damage on the delivery receipt and contact us within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or credit for any pallets damaged in transit at no cost to you. Our drivers are trained to handle pallets carefully and to secure loads properly, and we track damage claims internally to continuously improve our delivery quality.
